Lux paints the town pink

Lux, the number one brand in skin cleansing across the GCC, held a glamorous 'pink carpet' event Wednesday night at Chi @ The Lodge in Dubai. The grand entrance adorned with a pink glimmering carpet was lined on the sides by bathtubs with beautiful models frolicking in the bubbles.

One of the other 'luxy' elements was a full size hot air balloon at the entrance to Chi which lit up in a dizzying array of flashes as Lebanese singing sensation Elissa, the face of the campaign, pulled up to the event in a Lux branded, pink stretch limo.

Also in attendance were some of Dubai's premier socialites. All were treated as VIPs at this glitzy event for the ages.

The event was a celebration of the recent Lux balloon campaign which features Lux balloons flying all over the world with girls in bathtubs instead of traditional balloon baskets. This campaign is being run globally with different versions for each region reflecting the local markets. This balloon theme was a reminder to for women to celebrate a free spirited self expression on beauty. This theme was beautifully incorporated through out the venue.

Winners from the recent 'Beauty is a game, how do YOU play it?' competition got a chance to meet Elissa to discuss their perceptions of beauty and release their winning entries attached to pink balloons. With gorgeous models in bathtubs, a musician playing the harp in a bubble, and a hot air balloon to greet Elissa and the VIP guest, the event was full of Lux glamour.
